“Women and Sport”. This is the theme of a conference-debate organized by the association la Vannetaise, Tuesday October 4, 2022, at 8 p.m. at the Palais des Arts, in Valves (Morbihan). This exchange is offered as part of Pink October, an event dedicated to raising awareness and preventing female cancers and which will give rise to the famous race on October 7, 8 and 9, 2022.

The speakers will be Céline Géraud, journalist, vice world judo champion and godmother of this edition of the event, and François Carré, cardiologist and sports doctor at the University Hospital of Rennes, professor emeritus at the University of Rennes (Ille-et -Ugly).
“The fight against female sedentary lifestyle is a crucial subject and a real public health issue for all, present the organizers. What are the benefits of sport on women’s health? What place do women occupy today in sport, whether amateur or high level? » This event is organized in partnership with the Mutalia Grand Ouest foundation.
