Triple appointment for the Soria Badminton Club this weekend

The intense activity of the Soria Badminton Club (CBS) will take its players to the dispute over three tests, among which two National Masters stand out.

The first event will be the Ciudad de Zamora master for the absolute category and will be attended by Nora Martínez from Soriana who will play both the singles and doubles together with Irene de Arriba from Salamanca. In a test in which the best national rackets are found, the player will try to overcome the group stage, a task that is very demanding. Soriana starts with the handicap of a small injury that has prevented her from training normally in recent weeks, hoping that it will not prevent her from performing at her highest level in this weekend’s competition.

In another of the women’s club, Daniela Corchón, will travel to Xátiva where a sub17 national master will take place in which she starts as the second favorite. Member of the Spanish National Team in her first year in the category, the volantista will focus exclusively on the individual modality in this Valencian event.

To conclude the Sorian participation, six Sorians from the senior category, Manuel Acero, David Hernansanz, Santiago Martínez and José Carlos Pérez on behalf of the CSB and Sergio Latorre and Cristina Puebla representing the AD89 of El Burgo de Osma will attend Guadarrama where the Federation Madrileña has convened a scoring test for the national ranking. With a large presence of various clubs from the center of the peninsula, the Sorianos are confident of obtaining good results, many of them starting as seeded in their respective categories.
