Top 14: Racingman Bernard Le Roux absent for six months and package for the Blues tour

The second row of Racing 92 Bernard Le Roux, victim of a shock to the head during the victory against Lyon (32-19), will be absent for about “six months”, announced this Thursday his coach Laurent Travers. Le Roux (33 years old, 47 selections) will therefore be forfeited for the autumn tour of the XV of France.

“We have a lot of injuries (Fickou, Klemencszak, Chavancy, Regan Grace…), including Bernard who was affected against Lyon and will be absent for a fairly long period, which will be around six months. It will be another long-term absentee, ”said the Ile-de-France technician.

In front of Lyon (32-19), Le Roux suffered a shock to the head after contact with third line Loann Goujon, shortly after halftime. He left in stride, replaced by Boris Palu (46th). Goujon was also summoned by the disciplinary committee for his gesture. Racing 92 must face Toulouse on Saturday on behalf of the 4th day of Top 14.

Les Bleus host Australia on November 5, South Africa a week later and then Japan on November 20.
