The Wagners are fit for the Orlando Magic’s NBA start

Franz and Moritz Wagner are both fit and ready for the pre-season in the NBA.

“I feel good. It was frustrating that I couldn’t play because it means a lot to me. It was a frustrating two weeks, but the advantage is that I’m healthy and ready now,” said Moritz Wagner, who won the European Championship because of had to pull out immediately before the start of the tournament due to an ankle injury.

At the Orlando Magic media day on Monday, the two Berliners each emphasized how important the bronze medal was for German basketball. “This is just the beginning. I joked with Franz that I’m glad they only won bronze because that’s motivation to win gold next year,” said Moritz Wagner.

In the summer of 2023, the World Cup will take place in Asia, hosted by Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.
