The sixth date of the Metropolitan Table Tennis Circuit achieved expectations – El Sol de Toluca

The sixth date of the Metropolitan Table Tennis Circuit was a success, the good level of the matches was as expected, so the event that was held in the gymnasiums of the Adolfo López Mateos Sports Unit of the UAEM is positioned as a benchmark for the central area of ​​the country.

The event was attended by 90 athletes in nine divisions from different municipalities and nearby entities, which reflects the good work of the Table Tennis Association of the State of Mexico directed by Edgar Madrigal.

As for the results, Pavel Gutiérrez and Óscar Hernández disputed the final of division 1 after beating Luis González and Manuel Franco respectively, while Jorge Rodas won the second division by beating Iván Lovera by a score of 3-2.

Fernanda Caballero was the best placed woman when she disputed division 2 and obtained sixth place, confirming her good sporting moment.

Ismael Alonso, after an intense match, obtained first place in division 3 by beating Gustave Pruneda, the experienced Brenda García beat Gabriela Castillo by a score of 3 – 0 to win division 4.

Daniel Sánchez defeated Emiliano Anaya to claim the first place in division 5, Gerardo Navarro González defeated Vitor Koga to win in division 6, David Mizrahi defeated Rodrigo Martínez to take the championship in division 7, finally in 8th and 9th were won by Alan Vivanco and Andrés Jiménez respectively.

The event has been key to strengthening the level of the players facing competitions such as the Conade National Games, Universiade and National Games of first, second, third and fourth force, which has allowed the level of local athletes, as well as Hidalgo , Mexico City, Querétaro, Tlaxcala and Veracruz has increased in recent years.

Each player is guaranteed to play a minimum of six matches, which allows them to increase their competitive level, in addition, all matches are played in 3 of 5 sets at the 18 professional tables (ITTF), which is another of the attractions of the event.
