The mystery surrounding Slavia’s nightmare: Kamara was already boasted in France, in the end everything is different

On the last transfer day of the major European football leagues, Kamara appeared on the official website of the French club Nice as a new signing. He even had his own profile on the OGC website. But everything mysteriously quickly disappeared again.

The information about his transfer for 10 million pounds, approximately 300 million crowns, was then definitively taken as their own. The 26-year-old midfielder remains in Glasgow, where he has three more years left on his contract and can look forward to fighting in the Champions League.

It is hard to say what ultimately ruined the expected transfer. But it would be a very good deal for the Rangers. They bought the player three years ago from Dundee for just £50,000. Given that the Finn does not appear regularly under coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, and that Alfredo Morelos will probably remain at the club, it could have been a good deal for the club from Glasgow.

According to Scottish media, the player’s agents present on the French Riviera were already ready to sign the contract. In the end, their trip yielded no results.

However, OGC Nice, which is probably owned by the richest Briton, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, was certainly not idle in the transfer market and spent approximately 1.5 billion crowns on reinforcements. He brought, for example, Kasper Schmeichel, Nicholas Pépé or Kamara’s former teammate Aaron Ramsey.

On the last day of the transfer, Nice also stopped the transfer of the Senegalese representative Bamba Dieng, because the Marseille striker did not pass a medical examination.
