The Valencia League 2022 is once again the competition that officially opens the basketball season in the Valencian Community. The different teams and categories will gradually be incorporated to enjoy what has become the great pre-season competition organized by the Basketball Federation of the Valencian Community (FBCV). This weekend we already have the first to arrive. On September 3 and 4, the Lliga Valenciana Femenina, the Lliga Valenciana Plata and the Lliga Valenciana EBA start.
The Women’s Valencian League brings together the three teams of the Community in LF Challenge and Women’s League-2: Picken Claret, NB Paterna and NBF Castelló. The three will face each other in a single round to determine who will be the two finalists of the competition.
The Silver Valencia League will follow the same competition format. CB L’Horta Godella, Safir Fruits Alginet and Maderas Sorlí Benicarló They will be measured by all against all to decide the two finalists.
In the EBA Valencian League A total of 8 teams will participate: EB Vila real, Picken Claret, CBC Manises-Quart, Jovens L’Eliana, NB Paterna Power Electronics, CB Alginet, CB Jorge Juan Tártaros Gonzalo Castelló y Proinbeni – UPB Gandia. They will be divided into two groups of four teams. The best two will qualify for the semifinals and the winners will meet in the grand final.
The Valencia Gold Leaguefor its part, will face the two representatives of the Community in a direct match in the category: HLA Lucentum and TAU Castelló.
Meanwhile, this past Thursday the registration period for teams in the rest of the Senior categories, in Junior, Cadet and Child, ended, so the respective competition schedules will be published soon. And in the Minibasket categories (Alevín and Benjamín), the team registration period does not end until September 8.
