A player Bali United once coached by Graham Potter, newly appointed manager Chelsea. It also tells the effect on Potter.

It is Brwa Nouri, a foreign midfielder for Bali United, who Potter had coached during his time at Swedish club Ostersund. Potter handled Ostersund for the period 2011-2018.

Brwa Nouri himself strengthened Ostersund in the period 2014-2018. That is, Brwa Nouri spent about 4 seasons under the direction of Graham Potter.

“He (Graham Potter) is not just a football coach. He is probably one of the best men I have ever met in my life,” said Brwa Nouri, in a statement released Bali United.

“He is very considerate when interacting with other people, makes you feel welcome, and will develop you,” he added.

The two also have a good relationship. Brwa Nouri is listed as one of his mainstay players at Ostersund with a record of playing 154 matches, scoring 23 goals and providing 16 assists in all competitions.

For Brwa Nouri himself, Graham Potter has an important role in his career. He admitted that he had fallen into negative things, but was finally able to get out with the help of Graham Potter.

“He is very talented in many ways. You have to experience it for yourself, but for me, he is extraordinary. I am very grateful,” said the player who has a cap with the Iraq national team.

“After what I’ve been through, how deep I’ve been, I never thought I’d get to this point. It’s very difficult to put into words,” he said.

You could say that Brwa Nouri’s career was at the peak of his career when he played for Ostersund. At the club, Nouri also experienced playing in the Europa League and appearing against clubs like Galatasaray to Arsenal.

The Iraqi national team also saw the potential of the player from the Kurdish ethnic group. In 2016, Iraq called him up for the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers.
