The team from Huelva adds to its already extensive list of winners the 3 gold and silver medals won in the Absolute Master in Zamora, the 2 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals achieved in the Andalusia Top TTR Absolute and Minibadminton in Ronda and the gold, silver and the bronze of the Sub-13 and Sub-17 Master held in Xátiva.
The great winner of the Zamora absolute was Laura Santos from Huelva after proclaiming herself the women’s singles and doubles champion together with her partner Haidee Ojeda, who also won the gold after two years without competing outside the league. Added to this triumph was that of Alejandro Pérez, who climbed to the top of the men’s singles podium, achieving his first gold medal in an absolute master’s degree.
On the other hand, the athletes from the Huelva club achieved the full men’s individual podium of the Top TTR in Ronda with the gold achieved by Iván Cumbreras, the silver by Álvaro Morán and the bronze by Adrián Acosta and Rubén Amador. Also noteworthy are the second places obtained by Alba Padilla in the women’s singles, María Díaz and Marta Rodríguez in the women’s doubles; Pedro Jesús Carmona and Pedro Marín in men’s doubles Sub-11; Clara Casado and Estefanía Martínez in women’s doubles U-11, and the bronze of María Díaz and Rubén Amador in mixed doubles.
Added to the great work done by the team is Bernabé Padilla’s gold in men’s doubles and Rubén Carreras’s silver and bronze in mixed doubles and men’s singles at the Xátiva U-13 and U-17 Masters.
