The Balearic governmentthrough the Ministry of Social Affairs and Sportssupport the female sport with grants totaling more than 150.000 euros.
As reported by the Government in a press release, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Sports has published this Tuesday, August 30, in the BOIB the granting of aid to women’s sports corresponding to the season 2021/2022 for a total value of 152.453,85 euros.
The grants are divided into two lineswhose main objective is foment, make visible y normalize women’s sport, challenges marked in the line of promoting equality in sport that the Executive wants to promote. These grants complement the ordinary aid for clubs y sportsmen that contemplates the Sports Directorate General.
On the one hand, they will be granted 30 team assists female or with the participation of women who participate in national category competitions. This line benefits a total of 25 clubs various individual or team sports, such as hockey, volleyball, badminton, football, archery, swimming or table tennis. The grants add up to a total of 127.181,21 euros.
On the other hand, the sports technical training grants will benefit 37 women. The total awarded is 25.272,64 euroswhich subsidize level 1, 2 or 3 sports training and non-regulated sports training such as judge courses, nutrition, sports psychology, etc.
The beneficiary entities and individuals can be consulted in the BOIB on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. This call he started in 2017will be maintained for the new season and is added to other general aid for clubs and athletes that is also managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Sports.
