The Asturian Basketball Federation is organizing this weekend the first official competition of the season, the Principality Cup. The three EBA League teams from Gijón will play for a place in the final on October 1, in which Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto will wait for the winner.
The competition will be opened at 8:30 p.m. on Friday by Corinto Gijón Basket and Grupo Covadonga. On Saturday at 6:00 p.m., Círculo Gijón and Corinto Gijón will play. And on Sunday, also at 6:00 p.m., the Covadonga Group and the Círculo will close this first phase. All matches will be played in the Juan Carlos Beiro de Langreo pavilion.
