Vinicius Junior can be dangerous this season. The Real Madrid winger also showed himself a slightly naughty player.
The action was seen when Vinicius helped Real Madrid crush Real Mallorca 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, Sunday (11/9/2022). The Brazilian player can score one goal.
That nick makes Vinicius now has 5 goals from 7 matches in all competitions. Four of them he scored in LaLiga this season.
For a while Vinicius led the list of Madrid’s top scorers this season. His goal record can now pass Karim Benzema, who has only made four goals.
In the match against Mallorca, Vinicius Junior proved himself not only dangerous. The 22-year-old also appeared a bit ‘naughty’.
Several times Vinicius tried to provoke his opponent’s emotions on the field. From falling easily, celebrating in front of the opponent, to celebrating moments of wasting time after holding the opponent’s kick ball.
The situation was commented on by Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, who assessed that Vinicius Junior’s attitude was still within reasonable limits. He believes that over time, his players can be even better.
“He’s a special player. The way he plays can sometimes make opponents angry. You have to understand, he always tries to dribble, whether his team wins or loses,” said Ancelotti, reported by Marca.
“Sometimes, he tries to make the opponent a little more angry than usual, but this is something that happens in football. With experience, he will learn little by little.”
“The referee, first of all, must be respected, even if he fails. It’s perfectly normal for the opponent to be a little more aggressive with [Vinicius Junior]said the coach.
