After thirteen minutes, the final score was already on the scoreboard in the Generali Arena and both goals had a Belgian touch. After all, it was Club Brugge striker Cyle Larin who opened the score after 4 minutes, ex-Gentenaar Jonathan David doubled the lead after 13 minutes and that was it.

David, however, celebrated his goal in a special way. He put his hand very clearly over the logo of Nike, the clothing sponsor of the Canadian national team. The reason? Canada is the only World Cup participant not to receive new jerseys for Qatar 2022.
