On September 23, 2012, Real Madrid beat Barcelona in the Príncipe Felipe pavilion in Zaragoza.
The Real Madrid added his second Spain Supercup on September 23, 2012. The Príncipe Felipe de Zaragoza pavilion hosted this edition in which the team of Ribbon lifted the title by beating Barcelona in the final. Previously, the madridistas eliminated Zaragoza in the semifinal by 64-72.
In the title match, the Real Madrid won 84-95 with Rudy Fernández as protagonist. The forward scored 22 points and a PIR of 25 and was chosen MVP of the competition. Llull (14) y Carroll (17) also stood out in the final.
