Teacher who played basketball dies – El Sol de Hidalgo

Huejutla, Hgo.- A teacher who played basketball on the courts of the Sports Unit of the Colalambre neighborhood in the urban area of ​​Huejutla, feeling bad, decided to rest in one of the stands, when he suddenly fainted and fell to the ground. , so his classmates, as best they could, gave the teacher first aid.

However, seeing that he no longer reacted, they decided to request the support of the Red Cross rescuers, who, upon arriving at the scene, checked the professor, but unfortunately he no longer had vital signs, where the management was directly informed. Huejutla Municipal Public Security, which cordoned off the area with yellow tape.

The police elements notified the experts of the Hidalgo State Attorney General’s Office (PGJEH), who carried out the corresponding procedures and attested to the death of this athlete who was participating in a basketball game, in addition to ordering that he be sent to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo), to carry out the necropsy of law.

Upon the arrival of the relatives, the teacher was identified as Leocadio N.N and that he taught at the Telesecundaria 734 school in the same community of Xiquila, where he had already been teaching for several years, but died of a possible cardiac arrest before the gaze of dozens of people who meet every day in this sports space.

Similarly, the relatives assured that he did not suffer from any illness, but that during the week he practiced basketball on a daily basis with his colleagues and friends, since he normally went to the Sports Unit in the afternoons and on weekends to an internal tournament.

It should be noted that the same Municipal Sports Council (COMUDE) in Huejutla or the same municipal soccer, volleyball or baseball leagues, to date have no record of any athlete who has died of cardiac arrest or some other situation regarding the health of each of the athletes, but today this tragedy is happening south of the Colalambre neighborhood.
