Suspected German fans raid pub

VBefore the German national team’s international match against England, there were riots in a pub near London’s Wembley Stadium. In the early evening, around 100 men – many of them masked – came into the pub’s beer garden and attacked guests, the Metropolitan Police said on Tuesday on request. Although some England scarves and hats were seen, authorities believe they were German fans.

Four people arrested

According to the information, there was a fight in the crowd and traffic cones were thrown. Several guests sustained head and face injuries, three suffered serious injuries to their legs or hands, but none were life-threatening. When the police intervened, most of the attackers fled. Four people involved were arrested.

The Sun reported five people who had to be hospitalized. Guests, some of whom had come to the pub with their families to watch the international match, expressed shock at the violent scenes on Twitter.
