Sports village in Piazza Mazzini. Vermilion to young people: “Never be ashamed”

LECCE – Football, fencing, judo, rhythmic gymnastics, athletics, rugby, basketball, archery, sports dance, cycling, sport fishing, volleyball, chess, kickboxing, taekwondo and petanque. All about the quadrilateral of Piazza Mazzini in Lecce which has been transformed into a large sports village with the Road Show of Sport e Salute SpA, an in-house public company of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, whose goal is to promote the sport of base and spread the correct lifestyles.

Adults and children had the opportunity, throughout the day, to attend demonstrations and try many different disciplines for free. The testimonial is a champion, Valerio Vermiglio, Italian volleyball player, Silver Medal at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, 2 Gold Medals at the European Championships, a Gold and a Silver in the World League.
