SPORTS / Chess, golf, volleyball, petanque and the ‘Flechas Rosas’ archery concentration make up this weekend’s offer

The program ‘Playing athletics’ starts on Friday and on Monday a crossfit exhibition will be held for the first time in the Plaza de Calderón

The 43rd edition of the Guadalentín Sports Games reaches its third weekend with a program in which minors take center stage with the start of the program Playing athletics, on Friday at the Sagrado Corazón school from 6:00 p.m.; and as a novelty in this edition, also on Saturday from 11:30 am in the district of La Paca. The participation of many boys and girls in the double date with Chess scheduled for these days is also expected. On Friday it will be the simultaneous test in the Plaza de Colón starting at 6:00 p.m.; and on Saturday there will be the rapid chess tournament at the Parque Almenara shopping center starting at 10:00.

On Saturday, the golfers participating in the JDG Golf tournament will travel to the Purias golf course, Lorca Golf Resort, on Saturday, which will take place from nine in the morning and will last until the food to culminate with a conviviality and the delivery of trophies.

On the same day, the San José pavilion will host one of the novelties on this year’s calendar, the 1st National Archery Concentration ‘Flechas Rosas’, which is expected to include around thirty participants.

On Monday, September 26, in addition to ‘Healthy Mondays’ in Avilés, a Crossfit Exhibition will be held in the Plaza de Calderón by Crossfit Lorca BTC. It will be from 7:00 p.m.

But before all that, tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. in the Alameda de la Constitución there will be a Boxing exhibition; and at 8:00 p.m. there will be an interesting talk by Lorca Juanba Romero entitled ‘Transoceanic crossing by rowing boat’ in which he will narrate the journey from the Canary Islands to America to raise awareness through sport about the damage that pollution is causing to the environment oceanic.
