The youth softball cup took place in Cologne. The U-16 team from the Baden-Württemberg Baseball and Softball Association (BWBSV) dominated the tournament and defeated Bayern Munich 7-0 in the final. The team from Baden-Württemberg was already successful in all three games in the preliminary round. North Rhine-Westphalia took third place ahead of Berlin-Brandenburg. Jessica Weil (Baden-Württemberg) was honored as MVP at the award ceremony.
