Recording six wins, two draws and one loss during 2022 makes the public believe it is time Indonesian National team champion AFF Cup 2022.

Regarding the AFF Cup, PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan set a target to win. This was conveyed by Iriawan after the match between the Indonesian National Team versus Curacao at the Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor, Tuesday (27/9).
Regarding this target, Shin Tae Yong is not afraid. For this South Korean coach, the target given by PSSI will be used as motivation. Personally, Shin Tae Yong also wants to give Indonesia the inaugural AFF Cup title.
Towards that hope, Shin would think carefully about the preparations. For now Shin wanted his players to enjoy each other’s wins against Curacao. According to him, victory deserves to be celebrated as long as it is not excessive.
“I think it’s worth celebrating. Moreover, we played at home. We won too. So we need to celebrate together enjoying this victory. When we lose, we may not be happy. We won and deserved to celebrate,” said Shin Tae Yong.
