Shin Tae Yong Makes Saddil a Second Weapon, What’s the Reason?

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Shin Tae Yong admitted to deliberately playing Saddil Ramdani in the second half of the duel Indonesian National team vs Curacao at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Saturday (24/9) night.

The Sabah FC player appeared in the second half replacing Egy Maulana Vikri. Since the early minutes, Saddil immediately made Curacao’s left side of the defense work hard to secure Saddil’s actions.

Despite not scoring goals or contributing assists, Saddil played a major role in the team’s victory. There was even a moment when the opposing defender had to bring down Saddil in the middle of the game because the player from Raha, Southeast Sulawesi, was troublesome.

When Saddil appeared the position was 2-2. The entry of Saddil made the attack line more effective because Egy appeared less than optimal. This also made Indonesia finally win with a score of 3-2.

Three goals for the Garuda team were scored by Marc Klok in the 18th minute, Fachruddin Aryanto in the 23rd minute, and Dimas Drajat in the 56th minute. All these goals were created not by chance, but through a planned scheme.

“Saddil in the league he is currently on holiday. So his performance has decreased a bit. He rested a lot. I used his plan in the second half. In the second half he was very good. What instructions were I followed well,” said Shin Tae Yong.

With dangerous actions, it is very likely that Saddil will return to Shin Tae Yong’s trust in the second match against Curacao. Moreover, the fitness of the number 11 user already looks prime like other players.

The next match between Indonesia versus Curacao will take place at the Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor, on Tuesday (27/9) night. This match will be more difficult because Curacao will certainly play more insistently.
