Serrano takes a double hit on the 4th stage

Movistar’s Spanish rider, Gonzalo Serrano, took the lead in the general classification of the Tour of Britain on Wednesday, winning the 4th stage ahead of Tom Pidcock (Ineos) and Dylan Teuns (Israel-Premier Tech).

Serrano won the sprint between four breakaways, which also included Omar Fraile (Ineos), who had enough of a lead over the peloton for him to dispossess Canadian Ben Perry (RDW) of his leader’s red jersey.
