Forty schoolchildren from the schools of Gages, Sébazac and Lioujas took part together in the National Day of School Sports, in partnership with USEP. It was on the site of the Espace Naturel de la Devèze Grande that the Lioujas school hosted this multidisciplinary sports day. Indeed a biathlon (running and mountain biking circuit) preceded archery and frisbee workshops. It is with great seriousness and determination that the schoolchildren approached these events with a framework of teachers and many parents who ensured strict compliance with sports ethics and safety rules.
The pupils of cycle 2 of the Lioujas school will later discover climbing and an introduction to table tennis with the help of the local club. In view of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, it is appropriate that these young athletes be introduced to a range of disciplines.
