This weekend, Ricciardo wants to focus mainly on the Dutch Grand Prix. The McLaren driver is looking forward to it and speaks positively in a press release from his team: “I am looking forward to Zandvoort. It is a fantastic track and it is a lot of fun. It was a kind of festival atmosphere and that gives you a good feeling for the weekend. It’s an old school track with interesting corners like the Tarzan corner. I’m looking forward to it and I’m curious how different it will be in the new cars.”

Ricciardo has been in the Netherlands for a while and is enjoying it to the fullest. He feels at home and wants to attack the competition in Zandvoort: “I spent the last few days in Zandvoort to relax and I ate a lot of stroopwafels. Last weekend did not go as we wanted but we will certainly “We’ve learned some good lessons in Spa and that could be useful for this weekend. Hopefully we will come out better and compete with the Alpines.”
