Becoming group winner in the Nations League threatens to be difficult for the Red Devils, but thanks to the 2-1 win against Wales on Thursday, the Belgians are already sure that they will be seed in the draw for the qualifications of the European Championship 2024.

With the ten points that the Belgians have already collected in the group stage against the Netherlands, Poland and Wales, they are now certainly among the ten countries with the highest points in Division A of the Nations League. Those ten, not counting the automatically qualified host country Germany, are automatically in pot 1 for the draw of the qualifiers.

In this way, our country would avoid confrontations with the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy or France. England is so far the only top country that, based on its results in the current Nations League campaign, threatens to end up in pot 2 and could therefore be a possible opponent.

The draw will take place in Frankfurt on Sunday 9 October. The final tournament will be played in Germany from June 14 to July 14.
