Purchasing power at the heart of the forum of sports and artistic associations “Tours en fête”

After the start of the school year, “Tours en fête” welcomes this Sunday, September 11, 2022 registrations for the sports and/or artistic start of the school year, around the Bergeonnerie lake. The traditional questions then arise in the aisles and between the stands: rather rugby or handball? archery or water polo? It doesn’t matter if the final choice is theater or volleyball, all these activities have a price.

On the professional side, inflation also generates a real dilemma. Many clubs are strangled between a increase in their expenses and a rate to be set, without losing members. The Ardente of Tours tried to compromise.

Energy prices on the rise

Roger Delissus is the president of the football section: “We were forced [d’augmenter le tarif de la licence] in relation to the current problem. The association makes trips and therefore with “the price of gasoline which increases, the price of insurance, the price of premises”, no other choiceconfirms the football coach, that review membership.

Fifteen additional euros approximately, to reach 145 euros per year. “We didn’t want to increase too much, to avoid losing one of the licensees. We have done as fairly as possible”. The parents of the Ardente de Tours seem to understand: the club has not lost any chicks.
