Every day brings its share of revelations but this Wednesday can mark a turning point in the Kheira Hamraoui affair. While investigators from the Banditry Repression Brigade had been looking for several days for a fifth man suspected of being the mastermind of the attack on the PSG player last November, a man in his twenties was indicted on Wednesday for aggravated violence and criminal association, and placed in pre-trial detention.
According to the prosecution, he could be the fifth man, as mentioned in an investigation report consulted by AFP. Arrested on Monday afternoon in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, he did not acknowledge the facts while in police custody and did not mention the possible role of sponsor of Aminata Diallo in the attack on his ex- teammate, according to a source familiar with the matter.

The motive seems clear: to hinder Hamraoui’s career to favor that of Diallo since the two women were in competition for the same position both in Paris and in the France team. Still according to him, it is this famous fifth person, presented as a cousin of Diallo, who would have ordered the attack: “He wanted us to pretend to attack Aminata Diallo and to attack Kheira Hamraoui.”
In this case, Aminata Diallo was also indicted on September 16 for “aggravated violence” et “conspiracy” and placed under judicial control. So far, she denies being the instigator of the violence against Kheira Hamraoui.
