Puntanas and puntanos continue to compete with the aim of getting a ticket to the Evita National Games, which will take place next month in the city of Mar del Plata. This weekend featured archery, tawkwondo, badminton and mountain biking.
Naschel, La Toma, San Luis and La Punta were the epicenters of the provincial competitions that combined martial arts, mountain biking, badminton and archery that brought together hundreds of boys and girls, young people and adolescents in the sport of these Games, which cover every kilometer of the provincial territory.
In the heart of the Costa de los Comechingones, badminton matches were held between the provincial teams, which awarded the ticket to “La Feliz” to six young people in the sub 12 and sub 14 categories.
In the land of onyx marble, it was the turn of cycling, more precisely Mountain Bike, a discipline in which San Luis is always the protagonist in the Evita National Games, and in this 2023, two young people will go in search of glory.
Martial arts had action at the Campus of the University of La Punta “Arturo Rodríguez Jurado”, which hosted judo and taekwondo combats; and in turn, archery shone in the capital city, and launched two new San Luis representatives in the national contest.
The Provincial Sports Games combine companionship, solidarity, inclusion and pursue the objective that all San Luis participate in sports life, creating good habits and exchanging experiences with the objective that San Luis continues to become the cradle of talents in all disciplines, and guaranteeing representation in the country and the world.
