Prestige International Aranmare consists of Aranmare Yamagata, a women’s basketball team (located in Akita City, Akita Prefecture, hereinafter “Aranmare Akita”), and a women’s handball team (located in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture, hereinafter “Aranmare Toyama”). 3 teams, including 2 teams of , are women’s sports teams that are active with the same team name.
Aranmare Yamagata, Aranmare Akita, and Aranmare Toyama are each teams based on the concept of “a team that is loved by everyone in the community and can grow together” and “a team that increases opportunities for women to play an active role and becomes a symbol of support for women.” We have been actively involved in not only sports activities but also local activities.
JERA, through its subsidiary, is a company with ties to the Akita region, such as being entrusted with operations related to the operation of the Akita National Oil Stockpiling Base by the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation. With the desire to liven up Akita Prefecture together, we have formed a partnership as a uniform partner of Aranmare Akita since 2021, and we will carry out activities with everyone in the region, such as beach cleaning activities and basketball clinic activities in Akita Prefecture. I was.
While working with JERA to deepen its relationship with the local community, even in Yamagata Prefecture, which requires a suitable site for offshore wind power generation, Aranmare Yamagata has been conducting local activities so far, and the team’s idea of co-creation with the local community. We agreed and signed the contract.
