How bitter!
Former VfB star Sasa Kalajdzic (25) has been out for several months – torn cruciate ligament.
The Austrian picked up the injury on his first (!) appearance for his new club, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He started the 1-0 win against Southampton but had to be substituted at half-time.
The club has also commented on the injury. It said on Twitter: “The pack is with you. You come back stronger.”
He moved from Stuttgart to Wolverhampton on August 31 for 18 million euros. In 2019/20 he had already suffered a severe cruciate ligament tear, which put him out of action for almost a year.
