The closing of the seventh date, the second of the rematches, also recorded the victory of Don Bosco against Juventud de Villa Centenario by 66 to 61.
Dueling teams from the Southwest, Social showed more solidity and conviction at key moments to build a difficult 71-68 victory in their visit to Hércules. The team led by Claudio Sollberg took a 12-point lead in the first five minutes of the game (16-4) but the locals reacted and matched the actions.
The party passed with permanent alternation in the control of the marker. With just over two and a half minutes to go, Rubén Zalazar’s men won by 8 (68-60), but a series of losses in one and greater precision in the other allowed Las Breñas’ men to score a partial 11-0 to stay with the victory and retake the leadership of the group.
Sebastián Puebla (23) and Ignacio Abdala (17) stood out in the winner; while in Hércules Gabriel Frencia (22) and César Cativa (19) had a great contribution.
In the remaining match of the day on Saturday, which ended the second date of revenge, Don Bosco was left with the confrontation of capital teams by beating Youth 66 to 61, with 18 points from Marcos Gauna and 17 from Iván Lugo ; and in those of Villa Centenario, Diego Torres was the top scorer with 14.
