After the lost match in Paris, Juventus had to go all out against Benfica. The Allegri team took the lead early on thanks to a striking header from Milik. But then the big Neres show had yet to begin.

The swift attacker forced a penalty before half time. Joao Mario hit the ball hard into the roof of the goal. After the break, Neres wanted to be on the scoreboard himself. He gave Juve the neck shot after a quick dribble.

Verdict: a painful 0 out of 6 in group H for Juventus. Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica lead with 6 points each.

  18. 53′ – Yellow – James Sands

And whether taking a eleven meter is an art. Piotr Zielinski could do with some practice.

The Pole had two attempts from the spot on the hour, but each time missed them. Goalkeeper McGregor took the slack shots with great pleasure – and with his feet off the goal line – and kept a ten-man Rangers upright.

At the third penalty, Politano did not let go of the ball. He showed his teammate how to do it. Immediately the starting signal for a liberated Napoli. Raspadori and Ndombele further increased the score. Napoli has the maximum of points and is leader in group A.

Potter can’t do magic at Chelsea debut

  12. 70′ – Verv. Benjamin Sesko by Chukwubuike Adamu
  13. 66′ – Cont. Kai Havertz by Ruben Loftus-Cheek
  14. 66′ – Verv. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang door Armando Broja
  15. 48′ – Goal – Raheem Sterling (1 – 0)

No, Chelsea did not play convincingly in his first game under new coach Graham Potter. The Londoners played at a leisurely pace against Red Bull Salzburg.

It had to wait for Raheem Sterling to break the spell after the break. The winger placed the leather nicely in the farthest corner. The relief showed on Potter’s face.

Still, he had no reason to cheer. Fifteen minutes before the end, Okafor only touched the ball halfway. Kepa came a few centimeters short to prevent the equalizer. A division of points and depressed faces at Chelsea were the result.
