Oswaldo and Gleyber record historic night in the MLB

The Venezuelans Oswaldo Cabrera and Gleyber Torres, figures of the New York Yankees, recorded a historic night in the Major Leagues (MLB) thanks to his bat.

In the first inning itself, on a 1-1 count, Oswaldo deciphered a broken delivery from the Dominican Roansy Contreras, starter for the Pittsburgh Pirates, to take it out through right field and score the first Grand Slam of his career.

According to Baseball Savant, the Venezuelan’s connection posted an exit speed of 102.7 miles per hour and traveled 403 feet at Yankee Stadium.

With this hit from four corners, Oswaldo Cabrera reached three homers and 14 RBIs since his MLB debut.

In addition to the Mirandino baseball player, fellow Venezuelan Gleyber Torres shone in this match by hitting two home runs in the same inning.

The infielder from Caracas became the fifth player in the history of the Yankees to hit a pair of homers in the same inning, the first in the last 13 years since Álex Rodríguez did it in 2009.

Additionally, he was also established as the fourth Venezuelan with two home runs in the same chapter, after Juan Rivera, Magglio Ordoñez and Pablo Sandoval.

Both criollos tied 8-5, with three homers, six runs scored and 10 RBIs.

Thanks to the explosive Venezuelan power, the Yankees managed to impose themselves loosely and forcefully (14) over the Pirates.
