Opened ‘Dog Playground’ in Bukseoul Dream Forest, Gangbuk-gu [뉴시스Pic]

[서울=뉴시스]Intern Reporter Park Ji-hyun = Gangbuk-gu Office opened the ‘North Seoul Dream Forest Dog Playground’ on the 19th and started operation on the 20th.

The dog playground was built on an 815 m² site using the badminton court site in the Dream Forest in North Seoul, and convenience facilities such as dog play equipment, management office, drinking fountain, rest facilities, and toilets were provided.

Gangbuk-gu divided the playgrounds for small and medium-sized dogs and large dogs based on the height of 40cm from the sole of the foot to the shoulder so that companion animals can play safely.

Mixed dogs of dogs and dogs are not allowed to enter, and in the case of unregistered companion animals, they can enter after completing their animal registration in accordance with the Animal Protection Act.

Children under the age of 13 or infants are not allowed to enter alone, and it is mandatory to fill out an entry list and wear a dog identification tag. Also, bringing food into the playground is prohibited.

The dog playground can be used by anyone, even non-Gangbuk-gu residents. Operating hours are from 10 am to 7 pm Tuesday to Sunday, and closed on Mondays, in winter and in case of rain.
