Without directly joining a club and under the responsibility of the citythe children of 5 to 11 years old can register for an activity. “Initially, they are under the responsibility of the city of Limoges”explains Sylvie Rozette, the municipal assistant in charge of sports. “Then, they are directed towards associations which wish to open places. Either they remain the whole year under the responsibility of the city, but are not licensed to the club, or they decide to break with the city and take a membership in the club. »

The device, which appeals nearly 600 young people each yearhas several advantages for families, according to Sylvie Rozette. “It’s already important to get people to do physical activity and fight against a sedentary lifestyle”confides the chosen one. “There is also the discovery side where children can do several sports. For a child who is not determined on a specific activity, it allows him to test what he prefers. And then financially it is super interesting. »
In fact count 15 to 75 euros for 26 sessions Sports Wednesdays, according to the family quotient. For three days, September 21 and 28, then October 5, open doors are offered. Registration will open on October 6.
