Comment from Yuzu Kitagawa Yuhito
Basketball has always been around my life. As a member of the basketball team when I was in high school, NBA star players have always been a dream of mine. In my twenties, I formed my own team and fell in love with basketball again. This time, I am very happy to be invited as a guest on Saturday Night and be able to sing on the court where star players play. Furthermore, while imagining the team members who continue to challenge themselves, I wrote a song called “Frontier” as the tournament theme song. I believe that NBA players, who are constantly evolving, are truly a mass of the “frontier spirit.” I would like to enjoy three dream-like days together with many spectators while savoring the joy of holding this wonderful big match in Japan.
