Udoka is no longer at the helm of the Boston Celtics. After dragging them to the NBA Finals just a few months ago, the coach was suspended, effective immediately and for the whole season, from the green-and-white franchise. The reason? A relationship with a woman from the team coaching staff (prohibited by the regulations).
“I want to apologize to our players, all the fans, the entire Celtics organization and my family for letting them down. I’m sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for all involved, I will have no further comments ”, the words of the now former Celtics coach to ESPN.
