Miguel Cairo will take the reins of the Chicago White Sox team

Major League manager Tony La Russa will not be able to return to the Chicago White Sox bench this season for health reasons; so Miguel Cairo will be in charge of the team for the rest of the campaign.

Cairo will assume the role of interim manager, however, his status for the following harvest has not been defined. After all, this will be an opportunity that could open more doors for him in Major League Baseball (MLB).
