Medina del Campo presents the schedule of sports activities for the coming course

The activities, designed for all audiences, encourage outdoor sports activity for the elderly and initiation into competition for the little ones

Medina del Campo has announced the posters and the programming of municipal sports activities for the 2022 – 2023 academic year. The Councilor for Sports, Juan Antonio Pisador, the Manager of the Municipal Sports Foundation, María Jesús Pérez Criado and the sports technician , Teresa López Martín, have presented the two programs designed according to whether the user is a child or an adult in the Hall of Shields of the City Council. Under the motto `move yourself` the activities for adults range from physical maintenance scheduled in weekly sessions to the outdoor program for adults, a free monthly activity for which pre-registration is required, there is a maximum of 25 people per participating group and they must register a minimum of 10 to start the activity: walks and running by levels (initiation and advanced). Team sports are also contemplated: basketball, handball, volleyball or futsal.

For those over 60 years of age, activities have been designed to keep fit while playing and enjoying the outdoors. The parks will be used as a stage for the development of sports activities, among others.

Tennis and paddle tennis have also been considered for people over 18 years of age and heated pool activities, distinguishing between beginner and advanced levels, as well as specific water activities for people over 60 years of age.

The municipal sports service has also thought of the little ones, From October 3 to 14 the registration period for tennis and paddle tennis is open, sports activities to which the following modalities are added: multisport, basketball, soccer-7, soccer -room, volleyball, roller skates, chess, handball, roller skates, rhythmic gymnastics, badminton, table tennis and adapted sports. There are also water activities for children with functional diversity and swimming at different levels.
