The eyes of formula fans were fixed on Brno at the weekend. Dozens of riders in several categories presented themselves at the local automotodrome. But Vladimír Netušil caused the biggest uproar. The pilot and at the same time the owner of the Effective racing stable is competing in the European Euroformula Open at the Formula 3 level this season, from where in the past the reigning world champion Max Verstappen or Charles Leclerc have gone straight to the world elite of Formula 1.
Vladimír was very happy to use the opportunity to race in front of the Czech audience, especially since the Brno circuit is one of his favorites. “I really like it here, I won here last year, as well as the entire series of the Central European Zone, so I have only the best memories. It’s great to show myself to Czech viewers and existing or potential partners,” explains Netušil.

He organized a pompous event right in his own paddock for his partners on Saturday. A chef’s counter was set up next to the stable monopost under the smell of gasoline, and a true master of his craft, chef Jan Punchochář, stood at it. “I made a themed menu that fits the races, everything was bloody,” added the Stockinger with a typical smile. Argentinian shrimp with tomatoes and olives, sea bass, or veal tenderloin with horseradish sauce were served. There was also the traditional and very popular Stockinger’s dessert, the so-called caramel egg.
Although Netušil finished fourth in the race itself after a mistake and second in the second category of newer cars, he did not let the rest of Saturday’s event spoil it. His friend Karlos Vémola, champion of the Oktagon MMA organization, also arrived in the paddock. It was he who drove Netušil’s single seater himself last year. “It’s incredibly addictive when you get close to another car. A person becomes competitive and wants to prove something,” the then well-known fighter gushed. This time he left the driving of the car to his friend and enjoyed the fun himself.
The evening program for the guests in the Effective racing stable was spiced up by Playboy magazine models. The winner of the Hledáme Playmate competition Denisa Gudelj, actress Denisa Pfauserová, world-successful tattoo artist Ivana Beláková and popular DJ Lucca were not missing.

After the weekend event, Vladimír Netušil returns to preparations for the next event of the Euroformula Open series, which is scheduled for two weeks in Monza, Italy. In this year, which is the first for him in this series, his goal is to set the times of the best, and in the coming seasons to get into the crosshairs of higher competitions, such as Formula 1 and 2.
