BOLASPORT.COM – Charles Oliveira is believed to be able to withstand Islam Makhachev’s slam when the two fight for the lightweight title at UFC 281.

The phrase became popular in the UFC after appearing on the shirt worn by former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov during his trip to Brazil for UFC on FX in 2013.
As the name implies, Brazilian jiujitsu developed in Brazil.
Jiujitsu is one of the most popular martial arts disciplines in MMA thanks to Royce Gracie’s dominance in the early formation of the UFC.
Sambo is a popular martial art in Khabib Nurmagomedov’s home country, Russia.
Sambo has similarities with jiujitsu because it comes from the same root, namely judo.
The difference is, while jiujitsu emphasizes lockdown in floor combat, sambo requires players to also be skilled in standing combat.
Sambo combines judo with wrestling. One example is how takedown or dings have an important role there.
