“Just spit in your own face!” – Antonio Cassano Angry Serie A & Juventus Let Arthur To Liverpool

Antonio Cassano is fed up with Italian football letting its stars leave, most recently the departure of Juventus’ Arthur to Liverpool.

Legendary Italian striker Antonio Cassano has criticized Italian Serie A, in particular Juventus, for letting Arthur Melo cross to Liverpool in the transfer market this summer.

With the Brazilian star leaving on loan for the 2022/23 season, Cassano thinks Serie A is increasingly short of top-label players.

Arthur may not return to Turin if the Merseyside club take up the option to make him permanent at the end of next season.

For Cassano, Arthur’s departure to Liverpool is a kind of setback for Italian football.

“One very serious thing is about Arthur,” Cassano opened up Bobo TV.

“For [pelatih Juve Massimiliano] Allegri, he’s not the player, he’s not good, the coach doesn’t take him into his plans. Now he is going to Liverpool, which is one of the strongest teams in the world with the best manager in the history of football.

“Is there a reason Liverpool and Klopp wanted Arthur and then got him? What does that mean? That means in a country where people are mediocre and don’t have the ability [Italia]you have to look in the mirror and spit in your own face!” Cassano said loudly.

Arthur will wear the No.29 shirt during his stay at Anfield. Klopp is very enthusiastic about completing the transfer of the former Barcelona star.

“I’m very happy with this transfer,” Klopp said.

“What can he bring? He is a really good footballer. I think we all agree with that. He has had a good career and is still quite young,” said Klopp.
