Japanese Grand Prix | Jack Miller, winner of Moto GP 2022 at the Motegi circuit

Australian Jack Miller (Ducati Desmosedici GP22), winner of the Japanese Grand Prix, He affirmed after coming down from the podium that everything had gone “better than planned”.

“I felt strong all weekend, even yesterday, that’s why I was disappointed with seventh in the standings,” he admitted.

“I knew that I had a good rhythm for the Friday sessionand even this morning I also had it on the hard tire and I was able to come back very quickly, when I got into the lead I knew where I had to push and I was able to set a very strong pace,” explained Miller.

Of the tyres, like all the riders, he said that “the choice was difficult because everyone opted for the intermediate, but i used the hard one on the ‘wam up’ and i felt good right awaybut ten laps from the end I had to manage the straight well, because the tire had a lot of camber, although I think I did well from start to finish”.

This victory was very emotional and I was crying like a baby on the celebration lapI didn’t know I had that inside of me, but since I was shooting alone at the end, the only man to beat was the one you have in mind and you have to try not to listen to him too much and not make mistakes, “said Jack Miller.
