Japan MotoGP FP1 Results 2022: Fastest Miller, Second Bagnaia

Ducati rider Jack Miller became the fastest in the first free practice session (FP1) MotoGP Japan 2022. His teammate, Francesco Bagnaia trailed behind him.

Taking place at Mobility Resort Motegi, Friday (23/9), Miller recorded the best lap time of 1 minute 44.509 seconds. He was 0.028 seconds ahead of Bagnaia who was in second position.

Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) took third place with a time of 1 minute 44.558 seconds. Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) took fourth place with the best result of 1 minute 44.577 seconds.

Then there is Luca Marini (VR46 Ducati) in fifth position with a time of 1 minute 44.645 seconds. Honda rider, Marc Marquez is in sixth position with 1 minute 44.656 seconds.

Marquez’s teammate, Pol Espargaro is in seventh position with a time difference of 0.169 seconds from Miller. Brad Binder (KTM), Miguel Oliveira (KTM) and Maverick Vinales (Aprilia) round out the top 10.

The Japan 2022 MotoGP free practice session only took place once today. The second and third free practice and qualification will be held on Saturday (24/9) tomorrow,
