France beat Poland in the semi-finals

France will play the second final in its history in a men’s European championship on Sunday in Berlin.

Vincent Collet’s selection crushed Poland 95-54 in the first semi-final. It will face Germany or Spain for the title.

In search of a second continental title after that gleaned in 2013 by a team led by Tony Parker, the Blues flew over the debates against Poland, Slovenia’s faller in the quarterfinals and Switzerland’s next opponent in pre-qualifying for the Euro 2025. They already had a 16-point lead at halftime.

France was therefore fully reassured after having curled the correctional in the 8th as in the quarter-finals. Guershon Yabusele (22 points on Friday) and his teammates had indeed needed extra time against Turkey and then against Italy, equalizing each time in the last seconds of regulation time.
