Spain at the last minute to Final Four

The Final Four of the Nations League are known. The Netherlands, Croatia, Italy and Spain will compete for the overall victory in June. The Spaniards secured the last spot by overthrowing great rival and neighboring Portugal on the final match day.

For Spain, only a win was enough, but in the first half they lacked conviction against Ronaldo and co. It also seemed to turn out in favor of Portugal for a long time, but the devil was in the tail. Morata tapped the 0-1 against the ropes in the final minutes, Ronaldo got the equalizer a few seconds later, just not past the goalkeeper. Spain gets a new chance to win the country tournament for the first time. In 2021 it lost the final to France.
