FIBA: France gets a taste of Canada’s medicine at the Women’s Basketball World Cup

Canada continued its strong start to the tournament at the FIBA ​​Women’s Basketball World Cup with a second consecutive victory, this time by a score of 59-45 against France.

The Maple Leaf opened its tournament with a bang on Wednesday night by beating Serbia 67-60.

Nirra Fields was the spark plug for the Canadian side with 17 points. Shay Colley and Kayla Alexander also contributed offensively with 11 and 9 points respectively in the victory. Alexander also excelled under the ring with 14 rebounds.

In the camp of France, Gabby Williams was the best asset by amassing 13 points and eight rebounds.
