FC Bayern Munich – Barcelona: Leroy Sané explains his bottle throw | Sports

Everyone marveled at this scene |

That’s why Sané threw the bottle

The TV viewers and many fans in the Allianz Arena were particularly surprised by this scene 2-0 against Barcelona!

80 minutes: Leroy Sané (26) is substituted. Sturm-Juwel Mathys Tel (17) comes for the Bayern star. Sané normally shakes hands with trainer Julian Nagelsmann (35) and then the scene that is talked about a lot happens …

The national player angrily throws his drinking bottle on the ground and stomps straight into the dressing room!

Why was Sané so angry?

With his 2-0 in the 54th minute, he actually made a decisive contribution to the victory in the Champions League against Barça and ex-Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski (34).

Late after the game, Sané gave the journalists a detailed explanation: “Just emotions! I wasn’t mad about the substitution. I was a bit tired at the end. The coach saw that. I didn’t play well. That’s why the bottle had to take a beating.”

A surprisingly clear self-criticism from the star attacker. He scored another goal in the Champions League – like a week ago in the 2-0 win against Inter in Milan – he showed some good moves forward and got the BILD grade 2.

And yet Sané is mad at himself and his performance? Yes!

The DFB star explains: “I scored a goal but didn’t play well. I would rather not have scored and helped the team better.”

This shift in attitude and self-criticism contributed to Sané’s explosion this season. He is currently a regular player. Already five goals and three assists in ten competitive games!

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic (45): “It is important that he is self-critical. I spoke to him: he was mad at himself and a little bit at everyone because we didn’t play well in the first half.”

In the second half, there was a significant increase in performance and the two goals from Lucas Hernández’s header (26/50th minute) and only four minutes later from Sané. In the end, Bayern beat Barcelona quite clearly. But that wasn’t enough for Sané!

The star also wants to show really good football and play even more confidently. That’s why the drinking bottle in front of Bayern-Bank had to believe it…
