Evita Games: Provincial Cycling, Handball and Badminton Finals

Jujuy al día® – Within the framework of the Evita National Games, the Department of Sports and Recreation held the provincial finals for the sports of Cycling, Handball and Badminton in different sports venues.

The instances of provincial finals within the framework of the Evita National Games in Cycling in San Pedro de Jujuy, Handball in El Carmen and Badminton in the Capital were carried out with coordinated actions giving participation to different localities through work with the Sports Directors Network of Municipalities and Municipal Commissions, as well as with sports institutions.

The circuit was located at the entrance to the city of San Pedro, where the cycling alternatives were developed with participants from that city. San Salvador de Jujuy, Perico, Abra Pampa and La Quiaca qualifying in the under 14 category in Ladies 1- Estefanía Piagessi (Perico), in Men 1- Maximiliano Tapia (San Pedro), 2- Orlando Pereira (Perico) and 3- Benjamin Rojas (Abra Pampa) and under 16 in Ladies1- Oriana Gómez (Capital), Men 1 – William Báez (Humahuaca), 2- Joel Tolaba (La Quiaca), 3- Mateo Falcón (San Pedro).

Badminton, another of the sports in which the provincial final took place, was played at the north end of the San Martín Park in the capital of Jujuy with players from Perico and San Salvador, qualifying for the national level; in Single U-14 Male José David Sánchez and Rosa Noemí Suruguay in female; Joaquín Ignacio Tejerina and Andrés Leonardo Tejerina in men’s doubles and Lourdes Belén Jaime and Mia Luisana Reynoso in women’s.

In the Rivadavia Club facilities in El Carmen, the Handball matches were played in the under 14 category, with the women’s team representing El Carmen winning 11 to 10 against San Salvador and Ledesma in men’s after beating San Salvador 26 to 18. .

The next activities will be Cestoball sub 14 female on Friday September 9 in Fraile Pintado from 9 am. Under 15 male and female Olympic Weightlifting will be held from 3:00 pm at CIAF Los Perales. Next, Under 14 Swimming at the Che-Il School Pool in Bajo La Viña at 9:30 a.m. extending until Sunday 11, the day on which Under 14 Mountain Biking will be held from 10 a.m. in Yala, and at the same Tae Kwon Do time sub 14 in Working Society.
