Regarding Season 1 of the East Asian Super League (EASL), which was scheduled to be held in October 2022, considering the issues related to the new coronavirus in each region, we have decided to postpone the season 1 home & away tournament. We are in discussions with the league to consider postponing.
EASL is focused on running Season 1 responsibly to ensure the continuation of leagues in their home countries while the safety of partner leagues remains uncertain.
We are also planning to discuss with each partner league about “Champions Week” in Manila. We will be announcing more details about the tournament format soon and will keep everyone informed.

“Our mission remains to create the best basketball league and entertainment in Asia and improve the sport in each region. We will do our best to ensure that all parties concerned can participate with peace of mind when restrictions on overseas travel are relaxed.”
Our vision remains that the EASL will be the top three professional basketball leagues in the world in terms of fan base and commercial revenue by Season 3.
